Poverty eradication
Volunteers can help in working with organizing fundraising events or sell crafts to get funds that help support the organization and other projects like Malaria, HIV/ AIDS, Children and women in developing countries.
This can be done by having mobile tables on public events in the city, and in schools or Participate in organizing monthly Crafts home parties. The house party involves designing invitations cards, printing posters, advertising the event and preparation of the venue. These crafts parties have been the biggest revenue for poor women in Uganda helping them to have a sustainable income to cater for their basic needs.We have organised poverty eradication events in ; Midsommarkransen, Solna, Akalla Fridhemsplan, Alby among others.
We also collect second hand clothes and sporting material from different shops and sports clubs here in Sweden which we pack and send to Uganda. This process involves writing letters to different clubs and collecting the material, washing or cleaning the material and then packing them into loads to be sent to Uganda. Volunteers can also be involved in this activity aimed at eradicating poverty.
