Can Aid save Haiti:
Billions of money has been poured into Haiti and one wonders if the money will help solve the problem. From my own analysis aid money and most especially money that comes in in times of crisis like the Haiti earthquake does help for only a short period of time. The question is did Haiti need aid before the earthquake? I would propose yes they did. The earthquake was just a door that exposed the problems that haiti was facing. The Haiti story should teach us a lesson to help people in need before disasters like earthquakes show up .If Haiti's problems had been dealt with with time then the crisis that came due to the earthquake would have been easy to resolve ,unlike in this case where Aid workers are dealing with more than ten problems all being expressed in the form of earthquake victims |
